Preconstruction

CBI's preconstruction expertise lies in our ability to provide accurate preliminary scope, schedule, and budget.

During these early stages, we promote collaboration among all our stakeholders – project owner, architect, and construction team. This collaboration along with our experience and expertise ensures that your project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Services Include: Project Planning, Design Review and Support, Constructability Reviews, Value Engineering Analysis and Options, Jobsite Investigation, Budgeting, Scheduling, Market Analysis, Bid Package Development, Subcontractor Solicitation and Recommendations, and Contract Preparation.

Design-Bid-Build

We have excelled at the hardbid process since our company was established in 1999.

Being in business for over 25 years, we have access to an expansive network of proven subcontractors and suppliers across 15 states. Our thorough vetting process ensures that all work is delivered according to our high-quality standards. We obtain subcontractor bids for all scope areas to guarantee that our clients are receiving the highest quality at the lowest prices. Accountability. Design-Build

Many project owners prefer to work with CBI under a Design Build contract.

We take responsibility for both the design and construction phases of your project and produce high quality work on time and within the originally stated budget. A design-build contract leaves the project owner with less risk while transferring more liability to CBI. By meeting in advance, CBI, the project owner, and the chosen Design Team can map out a plan for the design, decide on a budget, and schedule deadlines for completion. As plans move forward, CBI can employ top-notch subcontractors and suppliers to complete portions of the work. The project will move along faster and decrease the amount that must be spent by the owner.

Construction Manager at Risk

CBI has a long history as a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) and we have completed several projects as a CMR.

At CBI, we value being an active partner in your projects and take action to assist in the design and construction phases, putting our profound knowledge to work for you. We not only assist in the design, but map out a schedule and finances to help the project proceed smoothly. Through our involvement, we bring attention to red flags or design flaws and suggest other engineering options. This helps to avoid major changes during the construction phase, which may otherwise impair efficiency and drive up costs. As a CMR, CBI works to cut costs to clients.  We are proud of our ability to produce high quality projects in a timely manner while remaining under budget. We have gained much respectability and prestige as a CMR and work around the clock to maintain our high standards.

Sustainability

CBI is committed to building projects that are socially and environmentally responsible.

We protect the environment, health, and safety of the community. We collaborate with architects and project owners to integrate sustainable construction techniques and materials. We assist our clients with environmentally responsible building options such as: Sustainable Project Planning, Design Reviews, Jobsite Investigations to evaluate how the community may be environmentally affected by the project, Jobsite Recycling Program, and LEED Certification Documentation.
